This workshop featured Professor Jean-Paul Rodrigue of Hoftra University who focused on the geography of East Asia. His sessions addressed questions such as What Is Asia and Pacific Asia? and Why Pacific Asia Matters? Sessions also covered the historical geography of East Asia in addition to the economies and societies of China, Japan, and Korea. The day ended with a session on Korea led by Maureen Maguire Lewis of Fuqua and a Japanese Taiko drumming workshop. CLICK HERE for workshop schedule.
