Study Abroad: Korea
Duke does not administer or officially approve any study abroad programs in Korea. However, interested students have a range of programs to choose from, as most universities in Korea offer language study for international students. The following programs are among the most established.
Since these programs have not been approved by Duke, students who wish to enroll in any summer or semester program in Korea and receive transfer credit for their coursework abroad will first need to petition the GEO-U. An advisor in GEO-U will work directly with each student on the petition process, and the student’s petition materials will be reviewed by a faculty-led Global Education Committee. More information about the petitioning process is available here.
