Welcome friends and family of our 2009 graduates.
Commencement Weekend 2009, Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 10, is a special time for your student, family and the entire Duke community. You and your graduate are invited to attend a number of Major Events this weekend, including the Baccalaureate Service, the President’s Reception in the Gardens, the Alumni Association Commencement Celebration and the Commencement Ceremony. Diploma Ceremonies hosted by individual schools and the departments and programs in Trinity College are scheduled following Commencement. In addition to these events, you’ll find information on Special Ceremonies and Events which are hosted by departments or affinity groups.
Please note that you do not need tickets for the Commencement Ceremony. Tickets are required for guest admission only to the Baccalaureate Service and your student is responsible for picking up these tickets the week of April 20.
