EUS E-MAIL NEWS FOR DECEMBER '95

The AEC world wide web (www) site is continually being upgraded. It now has an enhanced page which allow users to send a message to be posted on the AEC bulletin board directly from the site. There is also a more direct method of getting a request for AEC membership to Rob Hawes' office. Check it out. (The URL for the AEC www site is http://www.duke.edu/eus/)

Those physicians who have been paying a fee to get internet e-mail now can get it for free. Check out the AEC www site for more information or call Physician's Online Directly at 1(800)332-0009 for information on free e-mail and internet access. They have told me that they plan to provide access to the world wide web (www) and a www browser in the near future but this is currently not available.

If you know someone who wants to join the AEC e-mail list, tell them to send e-mail to majordomo@acpub.duke.edu and type "subscribe eus" only in the text of the message. (Don't use the quotes and don't use the subject line or it won't work.) More information about the AEC e-mail list is on the AEC Home Page at the address in the above paragraph
