Froshlife 2010

Last night representatives from residence halls across East campus came to the Marketplace to help kick off the 2010 Froshlife competition. We've had close to 300 people that have now expressed interest in Froshlife! At this point however,it's all up to you guys. In just two weeks from today, we'll meet back up again and you'll have to return all that glorious equipment along with your final movie.

So from here on, if you want to get involved, go ahead and contact the Team Leader for your dorm as listed below. It's up to you guys to figure out who's doing what at this point, but we'll at least get the ball rolling by connecting you all up.

Hey Everyone... Guess what, its February. And that means its time for the Froshlife competition to begin! Tonight is the big Kickoff event! Drop by the Upper East Side of the Marketplace between 6 and 8 pm tonight to pick up your equipment, get connected to other film makers in your dorm, and grab a free t-shirt while your at it. We'll also have our Expert Room filled with folks who can answer all of your vexing video-related questions. So come on by tonight, rain, shine, sleet or snow - we'll be there.

Hey everyone - Due to a scheduling snafu, the Kickoff event will be held next Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 6pm at the Upper East Side of the Marketplace. We had originally said it would be on Monday, but it is now confirmed that the Kickoff will be on Tuesday Night instead. Looking forward to seeing you all out there.

Last week your Froshlife planning team descended upon the Marketplace to offer desserts and signup forms to interested first-year students during dinner. It was a huge success! We had almost 200 people express interest in Froshlife this year. Don't worry though if you missed out! You can still sign up by clicking that big button below. The interest form is not a commitment - you are just signing up for two reminder emails about the upcoming Kickoff (Feb. 1) and the Premiere Night (Feb. 24).

Tonight is our Dessert Breaks and Info Session at the Marketplace, which will officially kick off events for the Froshlife Festival. Come by the Marketplace tonight (or Wednesday or Thursday) between 6 and 8 pm and say hello to the team and sign up to be reminded of future events. Welcome back everyone! I know it isn't the most fun thing to come back to classes and homework after a nice, long relaxing break, but that's not all you're coming back to this semester. Froshlife is just around the corner! Just next week we hold our dessert break info sessions at the Marketplace on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during dinner. Come by to ask questions or express interest or just to grab a cookie and hang out. After that, our Kickoff will be just days away on February 1!
