In 2007, Duke University signed onto the American College & University Presidents
Climate Commitment. Under this commitment, Duke has formed a Campus Sustainability
Committee with several subcommittees. DUGI has student representatives on each committee.
The Duke University Greening Initiative is supported by the Office of the Executive Vice President and the Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences
