Leah Hill, T'09

Leah Hill is a senior from Charlotte, North Carolina majoring in Public Policy and pursuing minors in Cultural Anthropology and African and African American Studies.  She hope to pursue a career in social justice work and get involved in community service and social justice organizations here at Duke.  She went to Harding University High School in Charlotte, where she completed the International Baccalaureate program. The Reginaldo Howard Scholars has been a source of guidance and an opportunity explore student leadership on campus. The support that the Reginaldo Howard community provides her with has been invaluable. Along with the leadership opportunities and personal relationships on campus, she was able to study abroad in Ghana Summer 2007 with Reggie support. On campus she is also involved with the Lambda Omega Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Baldwin Scholars Program, the Black Student Alliance, Duke NAACP, and Students to Unite Duke.  In my spare time I enjoy going out, reading, baking, singing off-key, and relaxing with my friends.
