Courtney Jamison, T'10

Courtney Jamison is a junior from Raleigh, NC.  She has changed her mind many times as far as academics is concerned--everything from biomedical engineering to medicine to psychology.  She has finally decided to use her language and analytical skills in the International Comparative Studies major with a focus in Western Europe.  She will also be pursuing a double major in History focusing on Eastern Asia and a French minor.  This past summer she traveled abroad in France and had a wonderful time exploring the Parisian culture.  This summer Courtney will be further developing her international studies interests by working with the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC. Besides academics, Courtney is also a member of the Iota Mu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, the Greek Judicial Board, the Uncle Harry’s general store staff, the Black Student Alliance, and of course the Reggie Howard Scholars Program.  Courtney thinks that the best thing about the Reggie program is the support system she had right when she stepped on campus—she wouldn’t have made it without them!  Otherwise Courtney likes to spend her spare time watching sports, going out to eat, and listening to music.  Please feel free to contact her if you have any questions! courtney.jamison@duke.edu
