Study Abroad: China

Duke in China (DSIC) is one of the longest running credit-granting study abroad programs in China, founded in 1982. DSIC currently administers a summer programs in China designed to offer a complete immersion experience. The summer program is an 8-week, two-course, intensive language program based in Beijing, featuring small group instruction, practicum assignments in the community, and language partners. Students also engage in Chinese cultural classes and weekend and mid-term travel to enhance the cultural knowledge and language skills they gain in the classroom.
