Funding: Faculty / Research Cluster Grants
APSI sponsors Research Programs/Clusters each year, the purpose of which is to promote interdisciplinary and cross-cultural inquiry and collaboration among East Asian faculty and students at Duke as well as in the Triangle Area.
Each proposal requires three signers (with at least two being APSI core faculty); the maximum number of proposals on which a faculty member may co-sign is two. Proposals are reviewed by the Executive Committee, which allocates up to $3000 to support each cluster.
Faculty members who receive funding for a research program/cluster should submit a report, including a budget summary, by the end of the academic year.
