Funding: Graduate Students / Tuition Grants
APSI provides merit-based tuition fellowships to students in the MA program in East Asian Studies. For first year students, the fellowship is expected to be $15,000. The award decision will be made during the admission review process; thus there is no need for the students to apply for the fellowship separately.
For second year students, APSI provides one-semester tuition grant of $10,000. Students should apply for the grant during the spring semester of their first year of study at Duke.
To apply, students should submit a copy of their official transcript, a 2-page, doubled-spaced, essay about their academic work at Duke, and two recommendation letters from faculty members who can speak about their work at Duke. Applications must be submitted to Mary Lagdameo by March 4, 2016.
