Post-Doc fellows:

  • Dr. Zhao Feng, who was Researcher, Social Science Academy, Shandong Province, China, studied as a Post-doc fellow under Professor Zeng Yi's supervision at CPSES of Duke University during the period of 2/20/2001 to 7/31/2002.

  • Dr. Danan Gu conducted post-doc research under Professor Zeng Yi's supervision at CPSES of Duke University, during the period 11/1/2001 to 10/31/2004, with support of Zeng Yi's NIA/NIH grant.

 Visiting Professors and Visiting Scholars

  • Ms. Sun Ying, Chief Statistician, Statistical Bureau of Hebei Province, conducted visiting research under Professor Zeng Yi's supervision at CPSES during the period of 3/31/2001 to 12/31/2001, with support from Chinese governmental fellowship.
  • Professor Yang-chih Fu, Research Fellow, Institute of Psychology, Academia Sinica, Taiwan, conducted visiting research at CPSES under supervision of Professor Nan Lin, during the period of 9/1/2002 to 7/31/2003, with Fulbright Visiting Scholar fellowship support.   

  • Professor Ma Rong , Chair, Department of Sociology and Director of the Institute of Sociology and Anthropology, Peking University, was a visiting professor at CPSES during the period 1/11/2006 to 5/15/2006, with support of Duke University Asia/Pacific Institute Title VI grant from U.S. Department of Education.

  • Professor Chen Weimin , Director of the Institute of Population and Development, Nankai University, was a visiting professor at CPSES during the period 10/1/2006 to 7/31/2007, with support of Chinese government fellowship.

  • Professor Ye Chusheng, Department of Economics, School of Economics & Management, Wuhan University, was a visiting professor at CPSES during the period of 10/1/2006 C 9/31/2007, with support of Chinese governmental fellowship.

  • Dr. Ai-Gul Seitenova, Consultant of Pragma Corportion, Kazakhstan, was a visiting scholar in economics from 10/2006-10/2007,with Fulbright Visiting Scholar fellowship support.
