Ladder

The Duke Ladder is used to keep track of matches played between members of the club team. It works as follows:

  • When you win against players who are ranked high than you, you move up the ladder.
  • When you win against players who are ranked lower than you, your position on the ladder remains the same.
  • When you lose against players who are ranked lower than you, you move down the ladder.

Ladder matches are played during your own time, and not during practices or clinics.

A match is won by winning 2 out of 3 games to 15 points. A third tie-breaking game is played to 11 points if it is necessary to determine the winner.
