Duke Life Flight

You've  seen the helicoptors racing to and from the hospital. You've heard the sirens from the ambulences.  Here's a chance to get a close look at the equipment and the people who handle the major emergencies.  It's a great learning experience.

  • Fit with Standard Course of Study: click here
  • Most Appropriate Age Groups: grades K-12
  • Number of Students that Can Be Accommodated: 30 in two groups of 15; one group at each helicopter. However if there is an emergency the helicopters have to be cleared for takeoff.
