Duke Society of Economics

The Duke Society of Economics was created in 2001, building on the efforts of the Duke Chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon that was founded in 1989.  The Duke Society of Economics serves as a forum for economics majors at Duke University, increasing discussion within the major.  The Society of Economics also promotes and initiates events related to economics on campus.  The Duke Society of Economics was formed under the guidance of Professor Edward Tower and Professor Thomas Nechyba.
