Our Mission

By making service based internships attractive, accessible, and affordable, Summer of Service, hopes to contribute to the continuing education of the entire Duke community and instill in its participants a lifelong sense of civic responsibility.

Vision

One day, Duke students will be empowered social change agents as a result of participating in a summer of service and strengthening ties to their nation, their university family, and their fellow human beings.
