Sashi is a post-doc studying the identification of higher inositol polyhosphate kinases. He joined the lab in October of 2001.
He received his Ph.D. from MK University in 1995. The topic of his thesis was
the study of HLA
class II antigens by DNA typing in health disease. In 1996 and 1997 Sashi was a post-doc at Norfolk State University in Virginia and studied the
molecular characterizationof the heme genes in the heme biosynthetic pathway. In 1998 Sashi became a post-doc in the Microbiology at Duke University
and studied replication termination in prokaroytes with reference to B.subtilis and E.Coli.
