A: My major is Internet Information, so I spend all my times on the internet, basically I go on the internet a lot.
B: then you guys are here, so you have many opportunities to work with computers, what about normal Chinese young people?
C: right now China probably have around couple million Internet users.
A: From what I heard a few days a go, it is around one million seven hundred thousand.
C: Most of these internet users, their age is between eighteen¡K
A: to twenty-five.
C: to twenty-five, young people.
B: So basically, young people have many opportunities to go online? Right?
C: right.
A: it also has to do with the fact that young people accept new things easily.
B: right, right, in these years we also notice that many people online does not only exchange information, also in making friends, and dating, seems to be a lot more these types too, right?
A: right.
B: then can you talk to us a little about when did this type of internet use start?
A: I think that it started from 1996, in 95 we just started school, basically, school¡¦s internet center hasn¡¦t been built yet. At that time, the school net hasn¡¦t been built. After 96, at the beginning of 96, BBS started to appear. BBS is a kind of electronic message board system. Then gradually more people started using internet. Then there appeared the www kind of service.
B: Then do you have a lot of opportunities to use this kind of internet service? For example making friends, dating or even marriage finding? Do you often use it for this?
A: making friends online is normal, but marriage finding, for people my age, it is kind of early! And I don¡¦t have much interest in finding marriage online.
B: what about Miss Feng?
C: BBS, I get on everyday, so I have many good friends online, Mostly we just talk, or¡KBut in marriage finding, I don¡¦t have this kind of experience.
