  • Group A: listen to “Subway Couple” 1 and 2
  • Group B: listen to the speakers on “He says, She says” 1 and 2
  • Group C: listen to the speakers on “He says, She says 4” and “Other Viewpoints 2”
  • Group D: listen to the speakers on “He says, She says 5” and “Other Viewpoints 1”
Step 1: As you listen to the assigned video modules outside of class, note down at least six comments about what you hear. Look at the transcriptions if necessary, but your comments not be be copied verbatim from it.

Step 2: In class, each group will have three minutes to review the comments that they have prepared from step 1. Participants in each group should pool their notes together to make them as complete as possible. As a group, you must propose two questions based on your collective notes.

Step 3: The teacher will ask a member from each group at random to make a two minute oral presentaton on the content of the assigned video modules. Each speaker will also ask the rest of the class to respond to the two questions proposed by the group.

Step 4: At the end of the reports, the teacher will comment on each group’s performance and announce group assignments for the next week.
