A: China first has alot of people, second is that Universities
have become more and more liberal in thinking.
So it is very hard to imagine that in fact, alot of people near universiites
cannot find a good friend. Why do you think that is?
B: I think one is that there is too much pressure in studying,
then there is very little time. Also because like some schools,
such as a language academy, has a large percentage of women.
While a engineering school such as Qing Hua has a high percentage
of men. So there is a very unbalanced ratio of men to women. If students
want to go out, they are either a group of all guys or all girls. So it is not very fun.
Before there are so called friendship dorms. But those are not as good as the
way now where people meet other students on the net. They can introduce more people.
A: So all of you are introduced by other students and then
communicated online? or did you just go on the internet
and meet people in chatrooms?
B: Just randomly meeting people in chatrooms
A: Oh, so it is just random meetings.

A: So how did you come to know this lady?
B: I am just lucky in that I found a girl on the
net that is much better than what I can find in everyday life.
A: so what do you think are the biggest attractions of
making friends on the internet? First of all you can't see each other,
second of all you have no idea if they are being sincere or fake.
C: I think at first the attraction for me is that alot of the external
issues are not involved. What I see is a communication
of the mind and the heart.
A: So you say that alot of externall issues are not included.
What are some of the external issues?
C: Such as first impressions, and physical appearance.
