• View the video interview in “Differences between American and Chinese cooking”, located in the “Views on Chinese Food” sub-module.

  • Translate the interview, excluding the stuttered words, into English. Try your best to make a literary translation.

  • Compare your translation with that of one other classmate. Then, revise your own.

  • Without looking at the Chinese transcription for the video, translate your English translation back into spoken Chinese. Digitally record your oral translation in mp3 format.

  • Submit the final version of your English translation and the recording to your teacher.
